The Dekalb County Green Team initiative presents the Code Compliance Academy. The Code Compliance Academy delivers training and public educational programs in digital format. The Sworn Officer, Ambassador and Code Compliance Neighborhood Network programs.
The digital format saves copier-fax machine use, electricity, paper, mail costs, hardcopy materials, preparation productivity, travel time, park time, park space, building space, heat or cooling therms, gas and electricity costs.
The Code Compliance Academy minimizes the footprint of learning.

Code Network Groups
The Code Compliance officer is trained by the Code Compliance Academy and sworn by the DeKalb County court to enforce a specific set of violations. The range of violations to enforce include the Abatement and demolition of unfit properties.
Code Compliance Ambassadors are registered and supported by the Code Compliance Academy. The Ambassador program is a four-hour program.
The Code Compliance Academy educates citizens on the process of submitting and resolving a code violation. The Code Network groups are divided into regions supported by a Code Compliance Officer. Violations are submitted, receive a service request number, tracked to resolve. Follow up discussion is available.
